Our client
is a world leader in consulting and information technology services
and partners with Global 2000 companies to provide end-to-end
software solutions, business consulting, systems integration,
application development, and product engineering services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The
Sales Manager will prospect for new business in a targeted geographic
area or vertical segment. Operating in a “hunter” mode, SM will
leverage knowledge and experience of the market to research, pursue
and convert business opportunities in areas of interest for the
company.
SM will
sell initial engagements to new customers, which will serve as
benchmarks for creating long-term relationships. SM will endeavor
to establish the appropriate tone for the new relationships by
presenting the company’s versatile and proven capabilities to
create IT led solutions to business problems.
Will front-end the entire sales process with the client
for the first few engagements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven
track record of 4-15 years in new business sales of process and/or
technology consulting services.
Strong
prospecting, selling and closing capabilities are required. Specific
success in large sized solution sales to C-level executives using
a consultative approach is ideal.
Requires
negotiation skills, ability to manage long sales cycles and interfacing
with people in multiple time zones. Should have strong understanding
of market space, with leverageable relationships with key executives.
Knowledge and experience with the Global Delivery Model is a plus.
SPECIFIC
INDUSTY EXPERIENCE:
Candidates should have experience
in providing solutions to clients in either of the following industries:
Transportation, Utilities/Energy,
Enterprise Software Technology
EDUCATION
REQUIREMENT:
Bachelors degree
MBA is a plus
