COMPANY:
Our client is a world leader in consulting and information technology services and partners with Global 2000 companies to provide end-to-end software solutions, business consulting, systems integration, application development, and product engineering services. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary focus is on building and managing strong, long-term relationships with clients.  Such a person should be able to deal with both engineering as well as IT executives at senior levels.  Within such relationships, the BDM will discover and win follow-on business opportunities in multiple sections of client organizations, thus creating a continuous revenue stream. 

The BDM will demonstrate thought leadership by recommending innovative solutions to clients’ problems.  For this, the BDM will research and understand clients’ business problems in depth, by collaborating with delivery pre-sales, existing delivery teams in the account and the Account Manager leading the engagement.  Further, the BDM will manage the sales process for all new business opportunities in the account.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven track record of 4 – 7 years in sales or solution delivery of software / engineering solutions and/or technology consulting services to large organizations.  Demonstrated ability to build, nurture, and leverage relationships with C-level executives using a consultative approach is necessary.  Requires strong networking and negotiation skills, ability to manage long sales cycles, and ability to interface with people in multiple time zones.  Process/strategy consulting and knowledge and experience with the Global Delivery Model is a plus.

SPECIFIC INDUSTY EXPERIENCE:
Candidates should have experience in providing solutions to clients in either of the following industries:

Transportation, Utilities/Energy, Enterprise Software Technology

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred)
MBA is a plus
